The images you hear us talking about in Episode 44 - Worst Tourists Ever.

After telling us what runestones are, and explaining that they range in sizes from small enough to fit in your pocket (3 inches circumference) to the quite large 59 feet (18 m) circumference stone pictured below.

Turns out the location of this stone is called Ed, not the stone itself as Cait thought. Here’s the link to Wikipedia where she found it.

The words on some of these stones are quite comical, such as this one that seems to be the ancient equivalent of “Mike was here.”

Not everything was brought home. Some items were marked up and left where they were found. The original graffiti artists?
